Both a hit and a miss
Rooms are spacious and clean. The staff radiates warmth! I loved the free water bottles and the easy access to the local boulevard.
The bathrooms were a letdown. hot water was hardly warm. Plus, the elevator seemed outdated and in need of a serious upgrade.

Nicanor offers a great central location, being just a few minutes away from cafes and a short stroll to the picturesque Rizal Boulevard. The friendly and helpful staff truly enhance the experience, ensuring a comfortable stay. Although the rooms are basic, they provide all that's necessary for a work trip.
Some rooms are windowless, which can feel a bit cramped.

clean, clean, clean
The family room was impressively clean and the beds were incredibly comfortable, making our stay pleasant. I especially appreciated the availability of a good refrigerator for our snacks and drinks. We also enjoyed the hot water for coffee, conveniently placed in a common area, although it would’ve been nice if it were warmer.
recommend 😊❤️

i was utterly appalled by the lack of flexibility from the staff on my birthday! i asked for a room with a view—they couldn’t care less. also, most rooms are windowless, which was such a delightful surprise, said no one ever. nearly gave a good review but just couldn’t, what a letdown!

The location is super central, just a couple of minutes from cafes and only a short walk to the shore. For a place to crash after a long journey, it gets the job done.
Most rooms are windowless and feel cramped. Air conditioning runs noisy and doesn't cool effectively, making for a stuffy night. Water pressure is disappointingly low, making showering a hassle. No fridges or safes in standard rooms. Also, some amenities are outdated, like the elevator, which isn’t working properly, and bedding that lacks comforters. WiFi often doesn’t work, leaving you disconnected when you need it.

Just a suitable option for a flash visit in Dumaguete City with good value for money. The location's close to Rizal Boulevard where I enjoyed some tasty local food.

missingWrote a review on 03 Aprfriendly staffgreat locationoutdated air conditioning
Had a great time with friends! The location is super close to Rizal Boulevard, perfect for trying local food. We caught a lion dance celebration, which added to the fun. The staff were friendly and helpful, making our stay even better.
One downside was the outdated air conditioning, which made the room a bit noisy at times. It could definitely use an upgrade.

missingWrote a review on 30 Marfriendly staffcentral locationwindowless roomsnoisy air conditioningbasic amenities
Security in the lobby provided peace of mind during my stay. Quick check-in and accommodating staff made the experience smoother. However, the lack of windows in most rooms made it feel somewhat claustrophobic, and the air conditioning was outdated, which led to noise disturbances and inadequate cooling. While the location is excellent for exploring local restaurants, overall comfort seemed compromised due to the basic amenities available in the room.
